Haruka as a Person
Haruka is a brash, outgoing and otherwise friendly person and also a hell of a flirt. She is also remarkably impersonal. She has many friends and aquaintences, but there are very few people she'll allow to get close to her. She has her reasons.
Also notable is the fact that Haruka rarely shows her feminine side. There's only a handful of people that know she isn't a young man, a fact she likes to keep to herself for amusement's sake.
Haruka loves racing and sports. She's a very physical person and quite competitive. She also tends to overreact. When around other fellow aggressive people, heads tend to butt. However, she also can't tolerate people who behave submissively. It is, perhaps the reason she's so drawn to the demure, elegant and witty Michiru who remains to this day the love of her life. They have adopted a daughter, Hotaru Tomoe after her father died in the explosion at Mugen Academy. Haruka dotes on both of them.
As a Student
Haruka is usually studious, particularly in subjects she likes. She has a strong work ethic and a determination to do things her way. With adults she's easygoing and informal. When given enough leeway, she can be a bit of a class clown.
As a Sailor Soldier
Haruka not only does a 180 in regards to appearance as a Sailor Senshi, she almost becomes a different person. Cold, determined and willing to go to any lengths to accomplish the goal at hand, be it sacrificing her life or betraying her friends, she doesn't mind dirtying her hands. Physically the strongest of all the Soldiers with the Space Sword talisman and some dangerous attacks in her arsenal, Sailor Uranus is a foe to be reckoned with. Even more dangerous when teamed up with the cunning Sailor Neptune, the Time Guardian Sailor Pluto and the Messiah of Silence Sailor Saturn.
Her elements are Earth and Air.
